Nearly 300 employees of Journey Mental Health Center in Madison voted overwhelmingly to join AFSCME Council 40. In results tallied on Tuesday, August 14, professional staff voted 103-40 to join AFSCME, while para-professionals voted 38-32 to join.

St. Croix County Nursing Home advocates, including Council 40 Local 2721 members who work at the home, gathered on Dec. 7 to express their disappointment that County Board members staged a sneak attack on the home's budget in the final days of county budget deliberations. (more)
